Lexicon Symbolorum (from the Latin “Lexicon of Symbols”) is an educational and outreach project created and developed by Michele Leone, focused on esoteric themes such as symbols, myths, traditions, and secret societies.
The goal of this branding project was to build a visual identity that could convey both an esoteric and mysterious aura, while also maintaining a scholarly and encyclopedic approach to the subjects addressed.
The brand’s initials (L+S), combined with the symbol of Glycon, give rise to a zoomorphic monogram which, enclosed within an oval, becomes a seal of guarantee and authenticity — a luminous point of reference for initiation into the knowledge that is shared and narrated through the project.
Gallo al Compasso is a project belonging to the Lexicon Symbolorum universe and focuses on themes related to Freemasonry and anti-Freemasonry. A fundamental aspect of the branding of Lexicon was therefore the conception of a brand with a strong and distinctive identity, capable of being developed across multiple applications: the projects derived from it are required to maintain a coherent stylistic and editorial reference, ensuring a direct and recognizable connection to the parent project, Lexicon Symbolorum.
